DENVER (KDVR) — On Tuesday night, the city council of Greeley voted 5-2 in favor of building a new entertainment district that would bring an arena for the Colorado Eagles, a waterpark, apartments and retail spaces to the area.
The “Cascadia Project” would be built between Highway 34 and Highway 257 on the city’s west side with an 8,600-seat arena for the American Hockey League team.
At the City Council meeting on July 30, Greeley Council members authorized the City Manager to explore a potential partnership with The Water Valley Company for a mixed-use, transit-oriented entertainment district on the city’s West side.
